Agave Attenuata

Commonly known as the "Century Plant" mainly because it takes forever to flower. These three spectacular flowers have been capturing my interest on my morning walks and this afternoon they looked amazing in the late afternoon light. Apparently after the plant has flowered it actually dies. CRIKEY.

We are planning to head south again tomorrow and it's going to be a tough day all round. It's never easy to leave your loved ones and when we arrive home we'll be 1400 km from Bundaberg, over 1000 km's from Melbourne and well over 3000km's from Perth. When I win the lottery I'm going to by a jet plane!!
