Kalaw, Myanmar - 2

A slow day here in Kalaw.  After a slightly problematic tummy and very late breakfast, we walked back to the pagoda complex because hubby wanted to take shots of the buddha altars in the cave that was part of the complex.  After that, we walked to town and visited the pagoda there, covered all over with tiny, blinking mirrors.  This shot is of a little girl (or boy?) who was visiting there with dad.  The rest of downtown was shops and market.  We walked through the market but didn't buy anything, especially knowing that we still have four weeks and one other country to go.  By 14.30, we were back at the hotel.  After taking a shower, we went down to the bar for a beer (hubby) and tea (me), then back to the room.  WiFi is awfully slow, but never mind.  Doing my best to catch up.  An early dinner was followed by an equally early night.
