History of a broken man
This sculpture has turned up in the Council's reception area. It is part of the British Legion's recovery through the arts programme for members of the armed and emergency services.
Graham Limb is one of 12 veterans who have used art to help deal with post traumatic stress disorder and rebuild his life. The accompanying note says he saw his closest friend shot in Bosnia, and becoming a fireman suffered the fall out from a serious and traumatic fire (he was awarded a bravery award).
It is apparently here till October, when it travels to the museum of the mind in London.
It's an affecting piece. Graham's "History of a broken man" includes a number of pieces - paintings and poetry too.
