Class Assembly

It's only the second full week of term, but today it was Amy's class assembly. I think it's a bit difficult being the first class of the year to perform... not an awful lot of work has been produced.

However the class did well... Olympic memories was the theme, with a little bit of what they had been doing in science mixed in the middle. Amy was really pleased that she had been chosen to read out her memories of our day at the tennis. Literacy is not her strongest area (she prefers maths) and she had worked hard on writing her paragraph.

This shot was taken at the end when the class performed their version of Stomp's Olympic closing ceremony piece. They all sat behind their chairs and used pencils and the chair legs to perform the percussion.
