Cromarty Harbour, with the outgoing tide hurtling through, as it does.
Very windy day, so we all went for a walk up around the South Sutor, rather than the planned paddle. Whilst we were on the walk, a big tanker was heading into the firth, towards the Nigg Terminal. Possibly because of the conditions, a change of plan came about. It slowed, stopped, and was turned around by two tugs that came out from Invergordon. Presume it went out to lay anchor in the Moray Firth, until things improved.
Extra - the tanker Mare Adriacum is turned around by the tugs Kincraig and Kinross.
