Tarascon-sur-Ariege

We are on the way south for our usual week on the Mediterranean coast to meet up old friends.
This is the town in the Pyrenean foothills where we are stopping for the night.
You can see our hotel to the right of the river - The Hostellerie de la Poste.
The weather down here is perfect too!

Another picture in the extras is looking in the other direction upstream showing the ancient Tour du Castella. We did go up there for some photos, but I preferred the ones at street level. Having descended from the tower, a welcome beer was had under the red umbrella in today's extra.
