A mainly wet day, but the sun did make an appearance for a short while this afternoon.
The butterflies much prefer the marjoram flowers to the buddleia bush.

Last night's committee meeting went very well, and everyone enjoyed the supper. My second attempt at the pastry for the salmon,leek and dill tartlettes was thankfully a success. I will certainly make my own pastry in future as the bought one was a definite flop.
It ended up more like a party when we had finished and MrC and L's husband came back from the pub to join us.
Quite a few bottles were also consumed, along with a few litres out of the wine box.
Fortunately it won't me my turn to hold the meeting again for the next 18 months.
