Waiting for a ride at Riistavesi

The company car's engine failed today just when we arrived to the work site. Luckily an employee of our employer (who doesn't work with us though) happened to be working quite close and he gave us a ride to Riistavesi after work. Later our boss picked us from there.

The car will be towed away later. I don't know if there's anything to be done about it. The car is old and my boss bought it for a very low price last year. If there's a major damage in the engine it's not worth fixing it.

There was some luck too. Although it wasn't nice that the car broke in such a remote location, at least it brought us to work. It would've been worse if it had broken earlier so that we wouldn't have been able to work but would still have had to wait for hours for the ride back home. And since it took a bit longer than usual until we got home it was good that neither I nor my colleague had any particular schedule for the evening. And I can think about several other locations with lots of traffic where it would've been even more inconvenient for the car to break.
