Date!

The boys clearly sensed something was up this morning and were both playing up. Until Granny arrived, good as gold then (come again Granny!!).  Because today, was date day! Yay!  The husband starts work next week, we may have had two difficult years, but we've delighted in the flexibility of not being beholden to 'the office'.  So we enjoyed lunch together today, no idea when it'll happen again.

Lunch up in the City, somewhere very special to us, we had a lovely time, always find it quite strange when it's just the two of us.  As ever, we were running late to get the train, then I was running late to get the train back (there's a theme), but I snapped the cricketers on the pitches.  One day, I'm not going to be running late, and will get some decent pictures.... one day... 

Utterly delightful to get back to the boys, does the power off good to have some time away, but I can never get over how much I love coming back home to them.
