Light with stain!!!

This is one of the 4 lights on the wall of the apartments where I live. After 5 years we have at great expense had the heavily stained walls cleaned and the light reinstalled 7 days ago and it's already showing water stains. Is it not beyond the wit of someone to design a fitting which throws the water of the light before it's hit the wall? My neighbour is at this very moment putting a line of silicone under the light to do that! I thought you might find this interesting especially if you are an MC supporter!!!
