At its best
Another very wet morning which certainly looked more like November than July meant that we didn't head out until lunchtime when it was still wet and the pub was very welcome. We had a good lunch and a pint and there was lots of fuss for Bailey from the staff. It was dry by the time we finished and headed down the street to do some shopping. A few things scoped out before we head home.
This afternoon has been much better with sunshine after a very heavy shower. We walked Bailey around the coastal path and over to the 16th hole on the golf course where there is a little beach. Oyster catchers, turnstones and eider ducks were all sunning themselves. Discarded lobster pots and shells and pebbles were photographed but the distant Longstone lighthouse and the impressive waves closer to shore show the best part of the day.
