The Square, Shrewsbury

We left Bath in the rain, to begin our gentle journey back up north. It was a leisurely, civilised day as we're taking our time. So we stopped for coffee in Tetbury, and for lunch in Ross on Wye, before arriving at Shrewsbury, where we're spending two nights,  in the late afternoon.

By the time we arrived at Shrewsbury the sun had come out so after our meal we had a walk along the River Severn in the lovely evening light, returning to our hotel through the town. We particularly liked "The Square" with the Old Market Hall.
