Thoroughly enjoyed last weekend's Leuchers Air Show and as with any outdoor event there are lessons to be learnt.
The lack of sun screen was a mistake to be sure, jet exhaust, wind and sun lead to dry skin.
Must buy Tesco's "Soleil Sun Care" at £3.25.

The lack of telephoto was also a mistake. My trusty workhorse 24-105 just wasn't up to chasing the pride of the RAF around the sky.
Must buy Canon's "EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM plus 2.0x Extender" at £2k.

There was absolutly nowhere to sit during the 12 hour event!
Have today bought Tesco Direct's "Folding Armchair" and it's brilliant!
Made from light weight plastic and brightly coloured it's the bee's knees for next years airshow. Only £5.98 and with a carry cover and even a drinks holder!
Only problem is the warning on the instruction leaflet which reads "Do not use the chair if under the influence of drugs or alcohol or if heavily pregnant. To be used for camping only".
