MASS MoCA: Reflection + Columns
We visited the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams today, after a nearby lunch with our friends Jane and Marty (they drove over from their weekend house near Rhinebeck on the Hudson River). The huge museum occupies a group of former factory buildings--nearly a dozen in all (they're not easy to count). The reflection is from a large puddle in an area between buildings, and the extra shows a typical interior view (don't miss it!--Marylee is in the left distance, beyond a hanging sculpture of shiny metal by Louise Bourgeois--French-American, 1911-2010).
