Embracing the change

Felt very autumnal tonight. We pottered in the kitchen, me tidying up and TSM cooking hot and sour fish, and a dish of sweet potatoes, figs and goats cheese in balsamic vinegar. Both recipes in Jerusalem by Yotam Ottolenhgi and Tami Tamimi. Brilliant. Loved it.

The blip is our Friday night cocktail: lychee liqeur, vodka and lemonade.

Another very quiet day in the office (atmosphere-wise) but very busy. Couple of my team were heroes copying and collating board papers.

Minor panic tonight when we thought the kittens had escaped through an open window. Happy ending - they were hiding upstairs.Top Gun had a very good interview experience. The Dizzle got his National Insurance Number (rite of passage). Girl Racer and her mate H out for curry and a night in the clubs. All feels very good somehow despite the evenings getting darker.

I love being at home on an autumn evening when you have rich food and lots of love around the place...
