Off to Summer School

Today was day one of the Ballet Boost Summer School at Pineapple Studios. Carys was very excited as she was being taught by Olivia Cowley, a first soloist from the Royal Ballet. I was allowed to watch the rep class at the end of the day which was great. They did the Royal's version of 'Entrance of the Shades' from La Bayadere. C has done the first bit locally with her Youth Company, Olivia did the next bit on, so C was very happy. I also saw some of the solo they had worked on with Olivia earlier in the day.

Needless to say she was exhausted afterwards, combination of hard work and adrenaline and excitement. Four more days of dancing happiness for C, four more days of mooching round London for me.
