House of Dun

One of my longest standing friends (since we were both 11) is on holiday with her sister staying at one of the cottages at the House of Dun. I don't see her often enough these days so it was a great chance to catch up. I took the train up to Montrose and we had a lovely walk in the estate grounds and gardens of the house. This view is from the back of the house looking over the Montrose Basin towards the town. My friend and her sister treated me to lunch and it was a perfectly lovely visit.
