Bales!

I think these must be the first bales I've had the chance to photograph this year. It's been a day of showers interspersed with other iffy weather and it always looked as if it would be better later on. It seemed a bit windy for any aerial photography but with a location in mind, I continued living in hope.  

In the late afternoon the sky was looking quite purple so I looked out to see if there was a rainbow. There wasn't but that was when I noticed that these bales had apeared down in the valley. Could have done with some nicer light on them but it's not that sort of day.
