A showery morning but I went out, put fuel in the car, took books and clothes to the recycling banks and intended to get a blip by the lake. The weather suddenly turned nasty and without an umbrella the best thing to do was go home.

Late afternoon it finally brightened up so I did a short circular walk from home, passing the field where Ambleside Sports were being held today. Difficult to get photos without paying to go in but here's a view with some juniors warming up and a cycle race about to start.
