The No Shoe Shuffle

S is attacking the parquet floor in the spare room. The previous owner seems to have spent a fortune on getting it laid but then zero on maintaining it. Strange. Anyway, it's been cleaned and is now getting scrubbed and treated. The no shoe polishing shuffle is an added extra, the power of which is yet to be measured. Depending how it looks in a week or so (when it may or may not be back to a flat matt finish) will decide what we do with the other floors.

Otherwise we've been with S's mum all afternoon, mostly helping with the weekly shop. She seems to love being able to wander around the aisles with a couple of helpers in tow! Have to go make a pasta salad now, fingers crossed ....
