13 HOUR TOUR....Santorini Day 2

...,,gosh we're exhausted. Thought about choosing just one photo but just couldn't decide!!!
9am pick up
#Visit megalochori...a traditional Greek village.
# Akrotiri...a village covered in lava when a volcano erupt 3000 years ago. Similar to Pompeii but as yet they have found no bodies. It was all under a roof so was quite cool. It took us quite a while to walk round.
#then a trip to Red Beach
#followed by a trip to black beach...obviously the sand colour gave them the names. The sea was really rough but quite warm. We enjoyed a fabulous meal here too.
#onto a wine tasting session high up ...
#with amazing views of the caldera...the centre of the volcano that is now submerged.
#onto Oia...a place renown for its remarkable sunsets.
An brilliant exhausting day.

J is still in hospital and us likely to be kept in for several more days...,.him and K are thoroughly peed off...but a lots of phone calls later we think we've secured his release for 24 hours tomorrow.
