My friend Judy and I went to the Wildwinds Buffalo Preserve today, again, third year in a row.  It's tradition.  Anyway, it's always great fun to ride in the back of a pick up truck out into the fields and directly to the center of the herd.  There are about 200 bison in the herd including about 60 babies this year.  Lots of them were eating, walking around or sleeping.  These two were doing a little grooming with the brush and the one on the right was having a little pest control (the birds eat the insects off the bison).  
The bonus was an ice cream cone on the way home.  A perfect day....:)
