Fledgeling Dunnock.
The weather isn't bad for October! A very wet morning, I answered a few emails and spent a lot of time gazing at the birds in the garden. Going by the number of fledgelings of all types flitting around the breeding season can't have been bad.
In among the masses of Blue Tits, Great Tits,Chaffinches,Goldfinches and Siskins this little guy hopped out from the undergrowth. Dunnock, Hedge Sparrow or even Hedge Accentor call it what you will it looked very cute.
As usual on a Thursday I spent the afternoon with Kanyl. Not the weather for any garden related tasks but we had a pleasant time for all that.
