Bounty
This is my 25th summer harvesting the apples from our garden (and the sixth year I've blipped them) and I remain as awe-struck by them as ever. I do nothing at all to the gnarly old tree, apart from attaching a hammock to it from time to time, and every year leaves appear, blossom emerges then dries into a green swelling, then tiny apples grow bigger, turn red and offer themselves to me.
I've done nothing to deserve this.
