They say that it's all happening....

at the zoo....and they were right!!   Gramma and Grampa camp took Sanibel to our lovely mid-Michigan zoo, Potter Park.   It's small enough to see in a couple of hours, but totally charming, and the animals all seem happy to be there!

We had a wonderful time being the first ones there....no crowds, and so many of the animals were more active than later in the hot day.   In fact, we saw the female black rhinoceros, Dopsy, running around her field!!  That is something I never thought I'd see!

After the zoo, we had a delicious lunch at Panera, then headed to our house for some serious artwork.   I'm saving that for another day!


Perfect day with our adorable girl...she was exceptionally awesome!
