Cold, cold day

I have a friend visiting from Australia. He likes to get out and about. Usually when he comes over we have a day in Akaroa- always lots to see, and the fish and chips are the best. This morning we got as far as Little River- was cold, sleeting and I could see fresh snow on the tops. We decided lunch at Little River would do. It was very pleasant. Really cold- about 3'C.
