Clinging on

This green shieldbug chose one of my houseplants as a home. Either they change colour during the year or this one is a different type to the one I saw in spring. It was dark green on top but had nice light green markings on the underside.

Then it played dead when I escorted it in the garden. Thought it might be better off there rather than join the stick insects as a pet.
