Holt Festival

We are in the middle of the Holt Festival at the moment. In addition to the many paid for events, there are a number of free events aimed at those who live in the town. Today there were a number of bands playing in Fish Hill, including the Hoofbeat Street Band, and very enjoyable it was too!

I had my old ventilation ridge tile replaced with a standard one today as it was leaking rain following the removal of the old flue. The company who replaced the boiler sent an engineer all the way from Leeds to do it. He arrived at 8 a.m. after a 3.5 hour drive and asked for the new tile to fit - they hadn't given him one! A few phone calls later and two one hour return trips to Cromer had it sorted and he left for his 3.5 hour return journey home, poor guy!
