The Pond ....

.... in Rouken Glen Park. Plenty of vegetation growing round the edges and plenty of green gunge (algae?) on the pond itself. Vast quantities of Purple Loosestrife and Great Willowherb adding great splashes of colour to a rather grey morning.

The ducklings and cygnets are no longer babies but I did spy five tiny coot chicks bobbing about among the green gunge. It was difficult to get a photo with all five because they scoot about so quickly like balls on a snooker table.
