Dighty mosiac

It was supposed to rain today but all we got was several very brief showers amounting to less than 10 minutes. This altered my plans for the day as I had a couple of garden jobs to finish and so they took precedence over the housework.
As it was still dry after these I went out on the bike to check how long it took to get to the park where I do the health walk as I might use the bike sometimes to get there. This is another of the lovely mosaics along the burn.
After lunch it was the dreaded phone call to the insurance company to update the contents and cancel a car (we got rid of our 2nd car yesterday). I was on the phone for over an hour - "hold on for a couple of secs" (3 times) came to a total of more than half an hour! The upshot was I can't add the kayaks for away form home, they need a specialised policy though the bikes are covered, and I had to pay nearly £20 to cancel a policy with 3 months to run. These companies will get your money one way or another.
Did manage to make a start on tidying up, I think Mon morning will have to be housework, we've got a visitor coming for a week.
