The annual escapees meet...

...complete with a visit to the Oil Can Café...
Christina is visiting from Sweden so that's always a good excuse for a get together as Helen, Sue, Sarah, Christina and I are all escapees from the same workplace of pain and torture... and we survived a lot together ;)
Gathered at ours (much castlework went on yesterday) at coffee time and gossiped caught up til lunch. We had planned a walk for the afternoon, but the weather was so awful we went to the Oil Can Café at the Carding Shed for a nosey instead - an amazing mix of old cars and bikes, 50s music and clothing, and a great café to boot. Managed a bit more coffee and chat, before heading home for a cuppa and a meal out. Mike had bussed and walked over to meet us - mainly in the rain despite the forecast of sunny intervals - and we've only just all gone our separate ways. I see Sue and Helen quite often, but we rarely all get together these days - a grand day just chillin' and putting the world to rights...
My blip is my favourite of the cars on display, and the extra shows four of us hogging the banquette ;)
