What Is This?

Does anyone know. Took the dogs for a walk tonight through the fields. We came across this field and neither of us knew what it was. We have lived here for 17 years and this is the first time this has grown.
Worked in the garden today. So much clearing that needs doing. We have steps down into the river and you couldn't see them as so overgrown. I've started to uncover them.
Met my friend to hand over birthday gifts and had a drink too. As we were drinking she had a call that her dog had had 12 puppies. They will keep her busy.
Took the dogs for a four mile walk this evening. Maisie is knocked out now. I wore my walking boots as need to start wearing them in. They are quite comfortable but early days and a lot more miles need to be walked. Something else to do.
