Can't Mow This!

The fields along the hike and bike trail have had their summer buzz cut----but if you look around there are still some flowers to be found.  This is one of my favorite flowering trees, the Desert Willow.  On July 17, I used it in a successful Mono Monday shot, but now maybe you can see what a challenge it was for me to change all this beautiful color to mono.  I'm glad I did it, but I do love color!
