ZZ Birmingham

One of the high points of the day was a workshop on the magical animal totems within Blues music, and how Blues developed from the enslaved Africans who held onto their indigenous religion (while those who took to Christianity in order to further their futures led to Gospel).

The workshop was run by the eponymous Mr Birmingham who later took to the stage for a fantastic blues set.

I recorded the workshop, which featured talking and blues music, because I have a brother in law enamoured of the genre. But, well, onion... I cry. Look. Real tears. What's a blue druid to do...?
