The Turning

It has happened. Last week the cooling trend may have been considered a mere meteorological fluke. Not when it continues; that takes away the flukiness of it. I mentally accepted the onset of The Turning today as we set out on a moist, overcast morning to stroll down the lower path of the park trail and into the deeper woods, where the scope of the change is more evident.
