GUARDING THE NEST....

... our run of quite arm sunny days continues, with tomorrow heading to 26 degC and it's winter!!!!

Anyway, after checking Alice's swimming lessons this morning i headed down to the dam this arvo to see what's around.

Well, pleased to have a new find here with this pair of Striated Pardalotes. And seems the hollow in the trunk is the nest so will keep a close watch even though it is high up in a gum tree.

Whilst they were busy gathering tucker,  a pair of red rumped parrots were busy having some fun enjoying the sun.
