Dangerous wall?

These barriers have lined this wall for quite some time. The wall surrounds the garden of the Manor House and just the other side (see extra) is an enormous tree. All these weeks or even months I had thought the barriers were to warn of the cracks in the wall. Wrong! The Parish Magazine informs me today they are to mark poor road surface in the lane at that point. No doubt the tree still has something to answer for.
