This'll be a thistle

There are plenty of these thistles growing in the wild, untamed areas of vegetation. The bees love them but this morning it was a bit too windy and there were very few around.

Housework, washing, food shopping ..... I'm not too keen on any of those activities but occasionally they have to be done.
My pal E is coming for tea and we will no doubt spend a fair bit of time talking about our upcoming holiday to Switzerland. I've got the tickets, the seats are booked but we still have to decide what time to book the taxi for a flight that leaves at 6am .... probably 3.30 .... agh!!
