Day 9

Well it's been quite a day. We've been on 2 coaches, a ferry and 2 trains. It does sound a lot but the travelling is all very much part of the holiday. I'd downloaded plenty books etc but haven't needed them as you're afraid you will miss something. I've even given myself camera shoulder! The train was spectacular with Trolls Peak mountains, waterfalls and rivers. As for the coach ride I was amazed and petrified all at the same time. What an adrenaline rush. I had a front row seat and we were doing hairpin bends with only a tiny wee barrier! What an experience though. We're now in an awfully posh hotel that has a collection of vintage cars in the basement and a 1927 Buick in the lobby! Away to have an early night before our fjord cruise and day in Gerainger tomorrow.
