Butterfly macro

This was the only in focus image I managed to get of a butterfly today, the main problem with the macro lens is you have to get so close to the subject it often gets scared off. Just as well I've got lots of patience!

It's interesting to see the wing colours up close... they almost look like mosaic pieces! :-)

I've added an extra photo which I assume is some kind of bee or wasp. I've never seen one with a white mouth like this before.... any insect experts got any ideas?
