Value added

The day was spent with Sue, and involved some seven hours or thereabouts of constant conversation and catch up as we haven't seen each other for a couple of years. Quite exhausting really!  Fortunately, appropriate vittles courtesy of F&R assisted the process as did cups of tea and coffee. We've known each other since our youth - Mum was her piano teacher and as we both grew up to be music teachers, we sojourned down memory lane in a revelry of nostalgia and joy, making for a wonderful day. 
Only after she'd left did I realise that I had no photo - so Asda's blooms by the hearth it is. They're the blooms I bought more than three weeks ago - at only £5, that's what I call good value!  Played around with the image a little to give them a textural retro feel to suit the day. 


Bro came this evening and we had an Indian curry delivered to our door. Yum.
