Great Evening

A quiet sort of day doing bits of this and that and forgot to take any photos!  

However, we went out this evening to The Whitehall Theatre in Dundee, a new venue for us, to see Bizet's "The Pearl Fishers".

What a fantastic production it was, with the young cast of the Opera Bohemia astounding us with their amazing voices and acting skills.  The "orchestra" comprised of a pianist and a violinist, but they made a much grander sound than you'd think.  I'm not ashamed to admit that the final death scene brought tears to my eyes.

They are staging it again in eight other venues around Scotland, so do go and see it if you get the chance!
