Victorian Baths

For the first time in years I did some proper 'training' swimming at Aston University. The pool is a large Victorian design with original changing booths along the sides.

I went into the designated fast lane and managed to keep up but really bushed myself and ended up a bit breathless. All good stuff and invigorating. A guy in the medium lane was trying to race me at one point!

Nice wander around Birmingham and then went out for Italian and had an amazing goats cheese and poached pear salad.
