Ah- the boys went back up the road. And then I headed off on the bike; a peripherique in mind. 
As expected the rain kicked in - somewhere around Wester Hailes - but I stuck at it; dodged dodgy drivers and 90 minutes later I was home and in the shower warming up again.

Some housework and then shopping and eventually got home at 4.30; to head straight back out to meet Barry for an Arthur Seat wander. And so to home, to try and get my head around being back to work in the morning....
