Breathtaking scenery

After a lazy morning, reading a book on the deck with a mug of coffee at hand, we made our way to Crater Lake national park. Now we had already heard the lake is beating, but it really is quite breathtaking. We were also really surprised to see snow at the end of July, so we had great fun having a snowball fight on our walk up to Watchman overlook. This overlook had stunning vistas, but I liked this photo of Pippa looking at the Phantom ship (igneous intrusions sticking out of the water surface). Her yellow top is a nice contrast to the blues of the lake.
