Not Nautical

Novel use for the stern of an old sailboat. This is Cidra, the cider and wine room at Elizabeth Station. I was there today for the annual sour beer festival -- a choice of five 5-ounce pours from a wide selection of beers, some of which are not widely available.

My favorite was a Petrus (Belgium) sour passionfruit. I wanted to buy a bottle to bring home, but it was a one-time brew, never bottled, and only five kegs reached the US. Bellingham was blessed to receive one, and I was blessed to taste the contents. I'll be back tomorrow if there's any left -- not very likely!
