Morning Lights on the Runway

When I woke up this morning, there was a beautiful clear crisp blue sky above me. It was so bright and refreshing. I love quiet and peaceful early mornings, the feeling of opportunity. Unfortunately the weather didn't last as a huge rain storm came through all afternoon and evening!

Today I went to work in the workshop which was brilliant, we were pretty busy and I learnt a lot. I had a drink in the bar with some nice chaps from the airfield and then an early night since I was pretty tired! Spent the evening in bed with hot chocolate and a good book.

Things I am grateful for today
- bright and quiet early mornings
- my job in the workshop, it's the best opportunity to start learning all the things I want to learn and has set the rest of my life in motion!
- not having to pay rent because my friends are so kind and generous!
- my friends at lasham who are so encouraging for my flying
- having tough walking boots to get through go all this rain in!
- drinking hot soup in the rain
- my loving parents
