Good-Bye Christmas

We finally decided to part with our Christmas spirit and all the decorations came down and got packed away for next year. I will say that since the tree has been up for about a month now, I was a little concerned about turning the lights on it at this point. I had to resist Sean's insistent pleas for fear it would go up like the kindling it had become. Oh the sad life of a Christmas tree...To be beautiful for such a short time, only to be dumped when the day is done.

Here lie the sad remains of our lovely little tree.
