Friday's good news has got me thinking about how seldom I carry my camera with me these days, and how few photos I take on it in comparison to my phone. When I lived in Edinburgh I always carried a rucksack; here I often take my blips when I'm out walking Lucy, carrying nothing but dog treats and my phone. And my Edinburgh pals were used to me requesting photos, so I took far more portraits than I do now (Shetland pals, consider this advance warning). So, a resolution: to have a camera with me more often, and to use it. I mean, even if I'm still only taking photos of fenceposts, at least they're nicer photos...
