Desert Beach
There is something peculiar about the shoreline here.
It is 190 feet below sea level and surrounded by desert.
How can that be, you ask?
This is the Salton Sea, an inland sea cut off from the Pacific Ocean in southern California.
There is something else peculiar. The beach is made up entirely of fish bones.
There is something else peculiar. The beach smells of dead fish.
